MY STORYSince childhood, I have loved creating.
Katie Downs is an artist and at-home baker. She has a B.A. in Art Education from Delta State University. She taught art for nearly 10 years before deciding to focus on her family and make art from home.
She has 3 young children, 2 dogs, a pilot husband, and a home of pure chaos.
And she would have it no other way.
I have always had a fascination with all things artistic. I used to watch my Mamaw sew clothes for us as kids, and I would take any scraps I could find to create wall hangings, jewelry, even stuffed dolls. She also passed her loved of baking to me. We would spend hours creating chaos, and I know that was were it all began.
I love creating for people. It brings me joy like nothing else. I love art, and with that comes so many different options! I can make pretty much anything you can think up, or even things you can’t think up!
